DAY 1 Arrive in Athens. Meeting and transfer from Athens International airport to Hotel HERODION - located just 5 minutes walking distance to the Acropolis. In the afternoon an orientation trip through Athens-The Parliament Building, The Presidential Palace, the Stadium. Dinner in a tavern in the old Athens area- Plaka- beneath the Acropolis. Overnight (D)

DAY 2  In the morning tour to the Acropolis, Aeropagus, and the Agora where Paul preached. In the afternoon visit the National Archaeological Museum. Overnight.

DAY 3   Morning trip to Ancient Corinth, Here St. Paul and preached for two years. Visit the archaeological site, the Market Place and the temples. Return to Athens in the early afternoon. At leisure. Overnight.

DAY 4 In the morning transfer to the Airport and by air to KAVALA ( ancient Neapolis), where Paul accompanied by Sills, Luke and Timothy first set foot in Europe. Proceed to Philippi, where St.Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe and was imprisoned and where Lydia- the first European convert- was baptized. Visit. Continue to Thessaloniki, where Paul lived and preached 49-50 AD. Overnight.

DAY 5 Sightseeing of Thessaloniki Aghia Sophia, St. Demetrius churches and the Museum. Including a visit to the Vergina archaeological site. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

DAY 6  Trip to Veria –where St.Paul preached. Transfer to Thessaloniki Airport in the afternoon and return by air to Athens. Overnight Hotel Herodion.

DAY 7   Stay in Athens at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 8 Transfer in the morning to the airport for air to SAMOS. Visit Samos. Overnight.

DAY 9 In the morning cross over to Kusadasi (Turkey) by local boat and start the Seven Churches of Asia Minor tour.

Anatolia has been a center of Christianity even since St.Paul, St. Peter, St. John and other apostles came here to preach the Gospel. This intensive religious efforts bore fruit in the building of “Seven Churches of Revelation” in seven major cities throughout western Turkey.

Visit the ancient city of EPHESSUS, Virgin Mary and St. John’s Basilica. This prominent ancient capital of Ephesus,founded in the 10th century BC by the Ionian Greeks, is the most important of the “Seven Churches of Asia Minor”, where St. John brought Mary in fulfillment of his pledge to Jesus to protect her and where she is believed to have been taken into heaven. DAY 10 Drive to LAODICEA (Denzil), home of Philip the Evangelist, a tour of the city – HIERAPOLIS (Pamukalle) . Overnight.

DAY 11 In the morning continue to THYATRIA (Akhisar)- visit, SARDIS (Salihli), the ancient Lydian capital and PHILADELPHIA (Alesehir)-the youngest of the “Seven Churches of Revelation”.Visit the standing remains of an ancient church and the city walls.. Overnight in Dikili.

DAY 12 Drive to PERGAMUM, visit , continue to SMYRNA (Izmir),visit the Church of St. Polycarp and a short tour of the city. In the afternoon return to the port of Kusadasi. Embark the local boat to PATMOS, St. John’s Apocalypse island. Overnight.

DAY 13 Visit the St. John Monastery and surrounding. Overnight in Patmos.

DAY 14 Return to Samos by ferry and then on to Athens by air. Overnight Athens.

DAY 15 In the morning transfer to Athens airport for return trip to the USA.
